How Minecraft Bedrock Mods handles the small amount of technical data processed when you visit, and the rights you have.
Last updated: Nov 5, 2026Summary
Minecraft Bedrock Mods is a static guide website. We do not run user accounts, comment sections, newsletters or contact forms, and we do not ask you to type personal information into the site. The only data processed when you visit is the standard technical information that every web server receives, which our hosting provider uses to deliver and protect the site.
Who is responsible for your data
This website is operated by the owner of the minecraftbedrockmods.com domain (“we”, “us”). We are an unofficial fan resource and have no connection with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. For any privacy question or request, use the routes listed on our Contact page.
Information we process
Server log data
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record technical details such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring page, your browser type and operating system, and the response status. This is normal web server behaviour and is needed to deliver pages, detect abuse and keep the service secure.
Information you send us
If you contact us using the details on our Contact page, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address and message. We use it only to reply to you and to fix the issue you report.
What we do not collect
- We do not create profiles, sell personal data or share it with data brokers.
- We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels or fingerprinting scripts.
- The guide search on our homepage and guides page runs entirely inside your browser. Your search terms are not sent to us or to anyone else.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children (see below).
Fonts, files and third-party services
All fonts, styles, scripts and images on this site are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not contact third-party font or script services. When you click a link that leaves the site, such as Minecraft Marketplace, CurseForge, MCPEDL, ModBay, GitHub or Google Play, you are subject to that service’s own privacy policy. We encourage you to read it before downloading anything or signing in.
Why we process data (legal bases)
Where data protection laws such as the EU GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website for server log data, and on your request or consent when you choose to contact us.
How long data is kept
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider only for as long as needed for security, troubleshooting and performance, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Messages you send us are kept only for as long as needed to handle your request.
Security
The site is delivered over HTTPS, contains no login areas and stores no passwords or payment details. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we keep the site simple and up to date to reduce risk.
Children’s privacy
Minecraft is popular with younger players, so we designed this site to work without collecting personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Parents can find more guidance in our Minecraft Bedrock mods safety guide.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data about you, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of California and other US states may have similar rights under state privacy laws; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because we collect very little data, most requests will concern server logs or messages you have sent us. Send requests through our Contact page.
International visitors
Our hosting provider may process server log data in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied by the provider for such transfers.
Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that processes more data, such as analytics, we will update this policy before it goes live and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. The effective date at the top always shows the latest version.
